The Astronomical Observatory of Rome, based in Monteporzio Catone, near Frascati, is happy to introduce to the general public the DivA project, through which we want to promote astronomical and scientific outreach, with activities for schools, groups and interested individuals.

To this aim, the Observatory offers Astrolab, a pioneer structure – in the panorama of Italian Science Museums – which approaches Astronomy in a wholly different way, through interactive exhibits which help visitors learn and appreciate fundamental astronomical concepts.

The Observatory also offers MPT, a small telescope which gives people the chance to take part in evening observations and experience the emotions of “live” astronomy…You can also have a look at the events page, where we advertise events open to the public, conferences, observations and much more…Have a nice trip!
